I have been a teacher at ABC Learning Center. I can say that it was my first time teaching using the Abeka curriculum. I absolutely loved incorporating this into the daily routines. Ms. Tonya and Mrs. Ethel created an atmosphere where I came in and felt like a part of the team. We planned lessons and wrote lesson plans that aligned with the curriculum and upheld the quality-rated standards. All while encouraging each child to reach at and above their level. I enjoyed being at ABC Learning Center because I was able to work one-on-one with my students while incorporating my own teaching style. A community is created each year with every student and their families. A smaller setting is a greater goal of achievement. My daughter has been going to this school since the summer before she started pre-k in 2022 (they offer summer camp). I love that they’re a Christian School and a smaller setting, this is important for parents like myself with kids that have a unique learning style. Ms. Tonya (Pre-k Teacher) and Ms. Ethel (Kindergarten Teacher) have been so patient with my daughter, they’ve provided some helpful educational tips. My daughter comes home singing gospel songs randomly and she has recited her grace before eating her food several times , I also heard her counting in Spanish a few times. My daughter is also in ballet here, she’s taught me a thing or two and she’s learned to point her toes so well, she had her first recital during Christmas 2023 and there were other students who took piano lessons here that showcased what they’ve learned as well, it was amazing to see.

Ms. Tanya and Ms. Ethel are literally the sweetest people ever. They have been so warm and inviting since the first day I met them. They have been patient and gentle with my daughter and it has really helped her. She is very timid by nature; however, since attending ABC Learning, she has become more comfortable being around people outside Mommy and Daddy! If you are looking for a wonderful school to enroll your child, this is definitely a 5-star school in my opinion!

Health & Safety

We follow the guidelines of our Department of Health and CDC to make sure your child’s health is protected while they are enrolled in the learning center.

Every child must be current on immunizations within one day before their attendance.

Our staff members are trained in the signs and symptoms of illnesses and in proper hand-washing procedures to prevent the spread of communicable diseases. Our children are required to wash their hands upon arrival, after play, and before and after mealtime.

Parents/guardians will be notified of accidents as soon as possible. An accident report will be filled out and provided for the parent and office files. If an injury requires immediate medical attention, 911 will be called.
